Bacon Brussels Sprouts


Brussel Sprouts, sliced (about 1 lb.)
4 strips center cut bacon, chopped
1/2 yellow onion, diced
black pepper
olive oil
parmesan cheese

Sautee the bacon until just starting to brown, then sprinkle with black pepper. 
If you need more fat in the pan, add 1 TB olive oil. 
Add in onions and brussel sprouts, and sauté until the sprouts start to get a little golden color on them. 
Add a little lemon juice to cut through the rich flavors.
Add some grated parmesan cheese and mix. 
Let rest, and sprinkle some more parmesan cheese to dish.
