Turkey Stuffing

1/2 cup chopped onion
1 egg
1 cup chopped celery
4 cups dry bread cubes (about 7 slices cut in 1/2 in cubes.
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
1/2 teaspoon sage
2-4 Tablespoons water or broth.

Cook onion and celery in butter.  Combine with bread and seasonings.  Slightly beat egg and mix into stuffing.  This helps the stuffing to stay together.  If you need to add liquid, add enough to moisten (I usually don't add any.)

Makes 3 cups stuffing.
