Hot Dog Casserole (Natalie's version)

6 tbsp butter
6 tbsp four
2-4 cups milk
1 bag macaroni or wide egg noodles (I use egg noodles)
3 cups cheddar cheese
2 or 3 hot dogs
salt and pepper

Turn oven onto 350 degrees.  Start water boiling for noodles and cook as per package directions.  Make white sauce by melting butter in pan.  Add flour/milk mixture and dissolve.  Add extra milk if needed.  I usually start with 2 cups milk and add more at this point to thin it out, add salt and pepper to taste.  Once noodles are done, drain and put in sprayed pan.  Add the white sauce, hot dogs, and 2 cups cheese.  Stir well so all the noodles are coated in the white sauce.  Add another cup of cheese to the top of casserole and some more salt and pepper.  Cook in oven for about 45 minutes.

Note on hot dogs.  I like mine extra cooked.  So, I cook them for about 1 minute in the microwave before I cut them and add them to the casserole.
