Meat Loaf Burgers


1 pound ground beef
1 small onion chopped
2 carrots shredded
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Mix all ingredients together well.  Divide into 4-5 equal portions.  Form into hamburger patties.

Fry in an electric frypan at 350 degrees until done on both sides and the middle is no longer pink.

Serve on a bun with mayonnaise, mustard and dill pickles.

Tip:  I usually put the cover on for a few minutes to make sure the carrots and onions cook well.
