This hot fudge sauce is so good you will be tempted to make it more than you should...
2 cups sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
1/2 cup butter, no substitutes
1 can evaporated milk
Combine sugar and cocoa together until smooth. Cook in a small saucepan at medium heat for 2 minutes (just the sugar and cocoa, no liquids). Stir constantly. Add butter and evaporated milk. Bring to a boil on medium heat. Cook for 2 minutes.
Serve over ice-cream, cake, or even as a sauce to make hot cocoa.
