Chocolate Frosting

1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
l/2 cup cocoa (not a mix)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup milk (about)
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
3 1/2 to 4 cups powdered sugar

In saucepan, melt butter. Remove from heat and add cocoa and salt. Stir in milk and vanilla. Add this mixture to the sugar in a mixing bowl. Mix or beat until smooth and of proper spreading consistency.
