Chocolate Coconut Cake - Karen O'Neal

This is the best German Chocolate Cake I have tasted!

1 box Devil’s Food cake mix
4 Eggs
2 tsp. Baking Powder
1 ½ cups Buttermilk
Mix well and bake in 2-9” pans at 375 approximately 20 minutes.  When cool cut layers in ½.


Filling:
1 can Evaporated Milk
1 ½ cups Sugar
Bring to boil – take off burner and add 30 large marshmallows 1 lb. coconut
1 cup almonds or pecans - chopped (optional)


Put equal amounts between 3 layers; ice top and sides with Pillsbury Fudge Frosting in can.
