Caramelized Onions

5 large onions, sliced
¼ cup olive oil
½ tsp. salt

Place sliced onions in slow cooker with oil and salt.  Stir to coat. Cook on low in slow cooker for about 10 hours or until they are at the stage of caramelization you like.
